PEAS IN OLIVE OIL

INGREDIENTS:

  • A bag(1kg) of frozen peas, Lanaras
  • 2-3 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 carrots cut into round slices
  • 1/3 bunch of dill, finely chopped
  • 300 g grated tomatoes
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 150 ml olive oil
  • 500 ml water
  • Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Finely chop the onion and dill. Peel the potatoes and carrots. Cut the potatoes in bite size pieces and carrots in round slices. Pour the olive oil in a pot and sauté the onions and carrots over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the peas, tomato, potatoes, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Stir thoroughly and cook for about 45 minutes.
Tips: Sauté the peas with the rest of the ingredients before adding water.
