
SPAGHETTI WITH PRAWNS

INGREDIENTS:
- A bag (500 g) of peeled prawns, Lanaras
- 1 package of spaghetti Νο 6
- 1 carrot cut into round slices
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 red pepper, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 300 g grated tomato
- A few cherry tomatoes cut in half
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- A little basil (preferably fresh)
- 100 ml olive oil
- 500 ml water
- Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Boil the water in a pot, salt and cook the pasta until still al dente. Drain it, rinse it in cold water and set aside. Pour the oil in a skillet and sauté the onion, garlic, carrots and peppers over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Add the grated tomato, water, salt and pepper and cook for 20 minutes. Then add the cherry tomatoes and prawns and let cook for another 5 minutes. To serve, top each serving with the sauce or add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix to coat.
